In 1980 Ginger was invited to play in England at the Guards Polo Club (owned by her Majesty – Queen Elisabeth II, and home ground for her son, the Prince of Wales). Ginger played in England for many years; it was during these years that Ginger played with and against His Royal Highness – Prince Charles.
Whilst in England, during his first summer of Polo, Ginger was spotted by a talent scout and asked to play in the USA (Florida), during their winter season. Ginger was a member of the Palm Beach Polo & Country Club during his 6 years playing polo in Florida.
1980 – 1986 Ginger was playing full time on the world professional polo circuit and his Polo was not limited to England and the USA, but included Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Argentina and Chile.
In 1987 Ginger returned to Australia to play exclusively for Kerry Packer’s private team Ellerston. Ginger remained at Ellerston until 1990.

After Ellerston, Ginger returned to a roving roll as a freelance player and continued playing until 2000 when he retired from International Polo. During Ginger’s time as a freelance player, he played in Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Hawaii, Barbados and New Zealand.
In 2002 Ginger and his business partner – Nicky Hahn and he started the Gold Coast Polo & Country Club. The Gold Coast Polo & Country Club was an internationally acclaimed equine centre accommodating the very best of polo, situated in a breathtaking location - in the glorious Gold Coast hinterland – the only one of its kind in Australia. As Chairman of the Gold Coast Polo & Country Club, he transformed the rural landscape into three International standard polo grounds and 50 stables. Mr. Hunt, was successful in introducing 48 new players into the game.
The Polo Club offered: tournaments, practice chukkas, horse hire for practice and tournaments, polo lessons, polo agistement, polo professional hire and nurtures some of Australia’s finest thoroughbreds in preparation for sale all over the world. World Wide horse sales (including Polo, Equestrian disciplines and Racing), World Wide consultancy and inspections of horses for sale, World Wide import/export of horses (pursuant to quarantine laws)
One of Ginger's project management– including, but was not limited to; the designing a first class equestrian facility, design and care of polo fields, stables, stadiums, player development program and co-ordination of major horse events, and Polo coaching clinics.
At current, Ginter Hunt is undertaking a new project in Kuwait where he is developing the introduction of Polo.

Coach "Ginger" give advise in England to two Kuwaiti Polo Players, Eng. Hussam AL-Kharafi, and Mr. Kheribut.
